11315LiverBIRD-Perspective

"If it was'nae fer me "LIVER-BIRD" where would I be?
I could be in hospital or in the cemetry
..'cause she keeps me going over land, air & sea
she's my only "Bird" and is called L.F.C."

<smile>

happy 119th birthday....

Many a truthful word spoken in jest?.. the mythical LiverBird identifies the bonding of a "holy trinity"  and on the 119th birthday of Liverpool Football Club, I am not going to highlight personal or club memories but write about the "holy trinity" and the REd SPIRIT that bonded me with an ideal forme by the "supernova" of a man called "Shanks" the music of the beatles and a team that plays in all RED..and the socialist ethics that have been dumbed down by "society" ever since...

As we enter the 120th year, I think back to the "Celts" influence, of scots involved int he first team of the irish community that maybe made up almost half of the Liverpool population. This "rebel" mentality , who , yet prefers to party than to fight, but who will fight with everything if they need to. the "Braveheart" spirit is strong within the "scouser" but its not restricted to people born in a Liverpool postal district , I have seen, met or spoken to people from all over the world who cannot explain the "magic" that draws them to associate with this phenomenon.

There have been wonderful victories , fantastic parties and a "supportive bonding" that overcomes ethnic, political, religious, national, or other differences., and immense tragedies, within and without our Supporters; but we go on and find the positive, the LIverBIRD is not a "phoenix" but the spirit of "coming back" from defeat or near defeat, from tragedy from disappointment to climb over obstacles is reflected in the rest of my life

I have LOST everyone of my own  "familY" I have ever loved; Divorces & broken relationships ; 2 brothers who may or may not be alive "somewhere" in the World; a sister that died of cancer, as did the wife I loved, My honest father, who died suddenly in hospital almost 20 years ago after a "minor" accident, a Son who was mis-handled in a hospital & died after a "routine" examination. My energetic socialist mother; who died in 2000 whilst I was kept away, the year i formed a Union. and the 2 "estranged" children Leon (14) and Noela (9) who were literally stolen from me by the german state after they "legalised" the mothers abduction.

The LiverBIRD and the people I have met and supported have kept me going, when often there seemed no other reason to keep breathing, I have been "alone" many years but also NOT ALONE...and the words of our famous anthem . "You'll Never walk alone"  mean more to me than anyone could imagine..

11314 Gemini ; "You may be frustrated with loved ones and relatives today, because they are all buzzing with energy, but they are cranky, distracted and unfocused. They are all thinking about some kind of trip or adventure, while you are worried about making ends meet."
(lots of research today on "plans" for LFc trips, to anfield etc!) ...watched the "last of scrubs" and the first episodes - strange appeal of this type of "black comedy"

11313 Daily Horoscope "Someone in your family has a "microwave mentality complex". In other words, they want what they want and they want it now. Instant gratification may not be possible though, and it may fall to you to break the bad news that the goodies are not on the way." I think that refers to just about everyone of the "bling generation" and  the REdS youth team also lost their qtr final; unlucky lads lost 2-3 after leading 2-0 the cousin of howard webb sent off several players the young lads lost their composure and the game, mind you until then it was a very entertaining match to watch! - also enjoyed the cult film "dangerous adventures of Altar boys" ..us , we are the "outcasts" ;)  and a film about a woman with "MS" which reminded me of my ex-mother-in-law (but thats "another" story)

The mancs sang disgusting songs about Heysel & Hillsborough, and 10,000 REdS fans turned up to cheer our lads.. "FuTuREdS"

11312 I was feeling sorry for myself & asked someone to come to me, it seems I am always the traveller, so I reflected back on some  images from the REdS meeting in Tuzla ..(SUNday 6th march 3-0 v Mancs? can't count their 1 goal scored when we were singing YNWA!)

11311 "You are spinning your wheels mentally today. You just can't seem to get out of your rut, or find the solution to a problem, and you feel it should be obvious. It will seem that way in hindsight of course, but it is your own tension blocking your insight. Go for a walk to clear your head." ....I took a little walk, but there was also enough sun to enjoy the balcony..but no calm , like I was expecting that "Tsunami"..

11310 (Daily Horoscope) "It looks like you are in something of a winning streak right now. You can find amazing bargains, and may actually win a small amount of money, or find a lost valuable in your back yard, in the car, or in a laundry basket. You will have a lot of energy today. ...yes I did , I posted "ClubLOG "  KOP@Tuzla and "Kenny @ 60" on "MY KOP" took Veli for a birthday drink and had a "problem" with mr freedom ;) Lfc had a narrow first leg defecit @ Braga (to be recorded on the next ClubLOg!) "BIG Andy" made euro debut for LFC.

LIVERPOOL's BEst TEAM?

at the moment too many people exagerate about Barcelona's team ...IMO our youth team could beat Barca! :D  ...well, OUR team of the late 70's (team that thrashed spurs 7-0 & only let 16 goals in season 78-79 would be too strong for Barca (unless you have a soft ref ) , IMO were stronger all round than the 1988 LFC , ? barca? who?. I dont rate them that much, they look good in a 2 club la liga , put them in the EPL with a pressure game every few days and then see how good they are! getting kicked by the likes of stoke etc..they only have a handful of really hard league games and can focus on the european matches, look good because almost everyone is "average" at the moment, i have twice seen a LFC team win @ NOu Camp! so what!

http://thekop.liverpoolfc.tv/_A-chat-with-Barca-boss-Pep-Guardiola/blog/3381736/173471.html

Rafa could have taken us to title winners had he had proper backing in the last 2 seasons, media, "pundits" some fickle fans and the "purslow-broughton" disaster cost LFc a great man and manager, luckily Kenny has saved us from the foolish hodgson "reign" ...Rafa bringing Borell and Segura into the Lfc structure may well see us eclipsing Barca  if young players develop positively and Kenny is allowed to conintue the happy RE(d)Volution.. I dont rate Barca as highly as others , they dont have to play in a rigerous league where every game is "pressure" or have their players kicked by teams like stoke, doubt that they woudl suceeed in the EPL as easily..and when we get sorted LFC will be a better team..the future is REd, YNWA!

p.s. if you can - watch our youth team sunday against the mancs..@ Anfield or online (Lfctv) unlucky lads lost 2-3 after leading 2-0 the cousin of howard webb sent off several players the young lads lost their composure and the game, mind you until then it was a very entertaining match to watch!
#
unfortunate because the red card/penalty unsettled our players and obviously their goal passed the momentum to ManU , but most important ist another step in developing players, and added experience will help their growth, Reheem is in the europa league squad, it may be early but i would try him out , if he gets protection from the ref he could cause braga a lot of damage
#
Stojan> He looks more dangerous on that left side than Joe Cole, no doubt about that : ) Still - he is just 16... and needs to be protected from injuries. First to learn to protect himself.
#
ChriS SmiTH> hmmm, michael owen and Robbie were not much older when they first played in the senior team..neither of them were "big" physically ..we shall see...
#
Stojan> Agree totally - but they also lost their pace and acceleration very early, when they were 22-24. And that's because they weren't protected in adequate way by their coaches - lack of hard work in the gym caused a lots of injuries in early part of their career.
#
ChriS SmiTH> maybe, but in the EPL its almost impossible to protect forwards from physical aggression, and In Robbies case it was a serious fracture that cost him that explosive pace , Michael was an accumulation and various injuries also cost Torres that explosive acceleration , the problem of "over heavy" gym work can also take the edge off a player, its rare now that a striker can maintain more than 10 seasons of top class footy..

MY View of this MAD World

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1365542/Sir-Alex-Ferguson-hits-Kenny-Dalglish.html?ITO=1490

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has accused Kenny Dalglish and Graham Taylor of having short memories as he vowed to launch a vigorous defence to a FA improper conduct charge later this month.
          o
LFC Balkan Supporters Union>haha fergie is worried, he always attacked Rafa because he was scared..never attacked fool hodgson and now is worried by Kenny , GOOD sign! (cs)

Fergie seems to have fallen out of favour with the FA, they "dare" to take him on after all these years of his teams getting advantages in extra time and referess decisions etc, he is running scared that LFC with Kenny Dalglish would be back on the "perch" soon..btw - Babel sent that "tweet" bEFORE Kenny took over..and considering how many LFc players have been punished at old trafford by Webb & co, almost every game a penalty decision in favour of ManU or a REd Card aginst us (last time Berbatov went diving INSTEAD of Nani or Ronaldo in previous years) and a straight REd for our captain, its about time "footy karma" sorted out old "swear Alex" ;)

THE LIVERPOOL WAY

RAWK>The LIVERPOOL WAY..

" I remember donkey's years ago Peter Robinson being asked why Liverpool never sack their managers and why they get so much support. He said Liverpool was built on collective responsibility. He said we all share the praise in the good times and when things go wrong it's everyone's fault not just the managers.

That was the very essence of the Bootroom and the philosophy that permeated from the boardroom to the terraces. If things weren't going right look at yourself first and see if there is anything more YOU can do before you start pointing the finger at your colleagues and looking for scapegoat's.

Anytime a manager or a player picked up a personnel award it was customary not to take the limelight but to heap praise on the people who helped you get there. Like wise when things went wrong you closed rank and supported each other.

Rafa got that, he didn't want the praise for anything, everything that any individual won was as a result of the team. Everything he said was prefaced with US and WE. If things went well it was because of the TEAM, if things went wrong then WE all had to work harder to put things right.

Compare that to Roy He won the LMA Manager of the year award, it is HIS tactics that have made HIM one of the SELF appointed most respected Coaches in Europe. He was very willing to accept all the personal praise last season but from day one at Liverpool he has sought to pass the buck.

Everything from the quality of the players he inherited, the fans protesting against the Yanks, Reina not being an English enough keeper, Lucas being Lazy, Masch being homesick, Sammy Lee not being a good enough Coach, Torres not being Carlton Cole, the expectation of the Club and now the internet forums have been used to absolve Roy of any blame.

That is why I have no problem whatsoever calling for your head because at no stage whatsoever have you ever tried to become part of OUR Club, right from the start you put your friendship with Ferguson a man who's sole intention is to knock US of OUR fucking perch above the good of the Club.

You should of realised you had the chance to join a family, a special Club that takes people to it's heart and backs them to the hilt. Sadly YOU just saw us as just another notch on your managerial bedpost on the way to the England job.

That is the reason you are not being backed YOU were never OUR manager in the first place YOU just came here to tread water and Coach until the England job became available. Sadly for you your xenophobic bigoted chums in the media haven't been able to see off the nasty foreigner for you and there is no job for you to jump into it.

Take a hard look in the mirror ask yourself if there is anymore you can do, stop blaming everyone around you and when you come to the inevitable conclusion do the decent thing."

ChriS> AS someone who "grew up" on the terraces of the old standing Kop when Shanks made us great and turned an average club into a world force may I propose to compile a list of things that us "original Kopites" consider to be the "Liverpool way" that the great Bill Shankly bestowed upon us..this group can be like the rest,(and their are hundreds of Lfc groups & forums full of the same rubbish) just filled up with banal comment and snips from the (mostly biased ) misinformed media OR we can be a leader of ethics...and a good example to all..

I wont try to load up too much..but here are just a couple of things we believe Identifies a "True RED"

support, anyone can be a fan, Supporters do exactly that, they support, through good times & bad, I recall when we went from '66 to 73 without a major trophy we also won the football keague "best supporters trophy" and half-time in Istanbul singing "YNWA" is an example that lifts us above other clubs..
WE are the club, supporters raised the level , sang the songs in our special way before any other club in the world on the Kop *when between 20-30 000 "working class" men had one voice..learn the songs, make us new ones..but..

remember to have dignity, yes we "hate" Man U etc but I dont agree with the "munich " song that is in bad taste, ...also Shanks instilled what we call the "holy trinity" (players , manager & supporters bonding as one, each loyal and prepared to fight % argue and help each other( we dont (oublicly ) insult our players , our manager or our supporters .. ( its ok to argue in private and state your opinion in a constrctive way ..but out & out insult ..without discussion saying "xxxx is a c*nt" etc not our way..

(before anyone mentions hodgson, ....anyone who has studied LFC 's recent history will know that the club was managed by fraudsters and people placed in charge from outside , like (back-stabber) purslow & broughton (a chelski fan) ..they forced out the most succesful manager in 20 years (Rafa) and replaced him with a "loser" , a yes man = roy hodson,,so its ok to insult hodgson because he is NOT one of us, and he insults "the Livqerpool way" by lies , tricks & bad mouthing of our club, ur players (and insulted our supporters when WE protested aginst tHicks & co..

we will applaud a team that beats us by playing better football (unless its mancs or bluesh&te) ...its rare but it happens and we sometimes even cheer a team we are batteringm, like when I watched us beat Basiktas 8-0 ..because we are not snobs ..

we are Fair, this is something thats is in your mentality or not..we hate the media who generally lie, (increasingly since the scandal of Hillsborough) they hate us, because so many journalists are mancs or cockneys or follow one or other of our european rivals, and the y are scared that we will dominate again..consider this every time you read a press or tv article about us..and even ex=liverpool players and our own official website have an "agenda" (it got sick during the "cowboys" phase and hasnt been "healed" by the new guys who are less informed that you are!

sorry if this seems "profesorial" ..I hope to learn your language so that we can understand each other better, I am avalable for questions, it is an honour to be a TRUE RED ,so please dont take this too casually ..you are the club, we are the club, WE are LIV-ER-POOL!

Mladen P> with all respect, do not joke with my shool, I suggest to look at yours. I admire your experience but it doesn't mean that you can teach me what to say IN A JOKE !
#
ChriS SmiTH> this is a LFC group, not your school, and with no respect you cant compare your knowledge of Liverpool "ethics" with mine..so you are making a pointless arguement obviously for no other reason than ego!..I recall that YOU "promised" to invite me out to Niksic 10 months ago, and I have heard nothing from you, so mayb its your way of "compensation" to pick an arguement over the sheer identity of the club you claim to support?

Kenny @  60

A great player/manager-I was @wembley '78 (about 10 yards away 4 THAT goal) & '86 ...but how Kenny dealt with Hillsborough made him a great man !!!!!!!!

if Kenny had been invited back earlier than when RAFA asked him to, LFC would have had more success, but thats life, let us appreciate him now, and support whatever and whoever he chooses, return the "holy trinity" and never mind the "owners"

Fernando Torres brushed off concerns about his form for Chelsea since his £50m move from Liverpool. Photograph: Ed Sykes/Action Images

Despite a failure to score in five games and some disappointing displays, Fernando Torres is convinced he made the right decision to leave "the chaos" of Liverpool behind for Chelsea.

The 26-year-old moved to Stamford Bridge from Anfield for a British record £50m on the final day of the January transfer window and the striker has revealed that, although he was a hero to the Liverpool supporters, the atmosphere around the club had changed to such an extent that he felt he had to move on.

"I knew I was an idol for the fans but it wasn't the same any more," Torres told the Spanish sports paper Marca. "The institution was in chaos with the sale. There was all this talk of possible projects. In many ways it reminded me of [former club] Atlético Madrid ... a great history, many ideas but without money, it needed time. I don't have that."

Fernando Torres decided to leave Anfield well before transfer&  considered Liverpool to be in chaos Fernando Torres has revealed he resolved to leave Liverpool long before his January transfer to Chelsea because the club were in "chaos". In a damning assessment, the striker said he could not reject a move to Stamford Bridge Torres hit out at the direction Liverpool have taken, describing them as a club no longer living up to their history. "[Leaving Liverpool] was a decision I had mulled over for a long time, even though it appeared to be taken very hastily," Torres said in an interview with the Spanish newspaper Marca. "I had made up my mind a long time before. In the summer in which Xabi Alonso left [2009] I started to wonder.

"I had the best three years of my career at Liverpool. I thought I was at the best club around, one that would win things with time. But when Xabi and [Javier] Mascherano left, and before them [Peter] Crouch and [Alvaro] Arbeloa, when reinforcements didn't arrive, I started to wonder if Liverpool was the club its history suggests or if it was in fact a selling club."I was an Atlético Madrid fan. When some of the players left the club, I couldn't understand. They did the best for themselves and their families and their careers."

Torres's commitment to the cause at Liverpool had been criticised this season but he said: "I never lost my ambition. Too many people are talking about that – that's just opinions. I was playing out of form for a month." The 26-year-old seemed unconcerned about the pressure of his price tag, a record fee between British clubs. "I have been in this situation before when I signed for Liverpool – big money, big expectation – so this is not new," he said. "I'm more than ready for the challenge."

He insisted he had a good relationship with Liverpool's caretaker manager, Kenny Dalglish. "I didn't talk with him when I left the club," he said. "I had a good relationship with him for the three weeks he was the coach." "I knew I was an idol at the club but it was no longer the same. There was also the departure of [the manager Rafael] Benítez and the club was in chaos with the sale. There was so much said, so much talk about projects, but then nothing. It reminded me of Atlético Madrid: great history, lots of ideas but without money you need time. And I didn't have much of that."

Torres said that he had first tried to move in the summer but was told that he could not depart with Liverpool in the midst of a battle over ownership. "They told me they would not sell anyone and I turned down an offer from Chelsea in the summer," he said. "I understood Liverpool's reasons for not wanting to sell me, even though I knew I was letting an opportunity go by – one that might not come back again. [But] the club was not the same, it wasn't heading in the direction I thought it should head in and I could see that a change was needed.

"What other teams could I have gone to? I couldn't go to [Manchester] United out of respect for Liverpool. Or [Real] Madrid, because of my past. I don't think Barcelona needed anyone. I didn't like the idea of Italy. Chelsea were the only club left. There was only one option. In fact, I thought there were no options at all until Chelsea appeared out of nowhere [in January]. The idea was in my head before but it was a long way from being a reality. "And then suddenly one day, 20 days before [the end of the transfer window], the opportunity appeared. I didn't expect it; it was like a light bulb coming on in a long, dark passageway. I thought that the six months left at Liverpool this season would feel like three years."

In a veiled criticism of Liverpool's handling of his move, he said: "I wanted to be honest. If others haven't been honest, that's not my problem. Football is not a sport populated by honest people. You can't tell the truth or be up front with people. It's a business and no one is friends. I was honest. I know [the transfer] wasn't [handled in] the best way but I was honest. If anyone used the press, it wasn't me. I was straight and I have a clear conscience." Torres has previously spoken of "broken promises" and has now hinted at a greater malaise behind the scenes at Anfield which led to his decision to leave. "People aren't honest in the world of football," he said. "You can't say the truth or be clear with people. It's a business and nobody is anyone's friend."

Torres is convinced that he has found something different at Stamford Bridge and that Roman Abramovich's finances will ensure that the club is consistently challenging for major honours. "Chelsea have proved they have top-level players in all departments and that they will always be competitive whatever happens, with an owner who will invest when it is necessary," he said. Torres also brushed off concerns about his current form saying a bedding in period was always likely after such a transfer. "I didn't expect it to be easy. It never is," he added. "It was the same for me at Liverpool. There are two months of adaptation to something so new, and more so in February.

from RAWK> read the other day a story about two Liverpool supporters from Spain, dad (40) and son (8 ). Dad born in England, son in Madrid. Dad travel with his son some times in the season from Madrid to Liverpool in order to see a match of the reds. Returning from seeing Liverpool-Spurs match (1-1 with that Torres' header in the injury time) dad told to his father: "Daddy! I think I just seen Torres here in the airport! He was wearing a baseball cap!". Dad told him: "You must be confused... Torres wouldn't fly with EasyJet". On the plane, when everybody was sit already, the son told him: "Dad! Watch there! Is Torres with the baseball cap, he is two seats in front of us! Tell him that sign my shirt please!". Torres was sleeping, so despite son and dad's surprise from seeing him, he told him: "He is sleeping, he must be very tired, I can't wake up him!" (Torres was previous night in the opening party of Carra's restaurant and now he was flying to Spain in order to go with the national team).
After Torres woke up, dad went to him and told to Fernando: "Hello Fernando, sorry for disturbing you. We are living in Madrid right now and we are Liverpool supporters. Could you sign us some posters?". Torres was talking with both of them and signed the posters: "Torres 9, All the best"

So, the boy said in spaninsh "Gracias". Torres surprised said: "Ah! So you are spanish!". In the second signing he wrote: "Con cariño, Torres".

After that, dad asked Fernando to take a photo with his son but they were in the plane so they couldn't do it. Torres told them: "When we land, we'll take it. I am in a hurry because national team car is waiting for me but I promise you that we'll take that photo". But there were a problem, a big problem. Torres hadn't made the check in and they had made it, so they would have to take differente paths. They explained to Fernando that they can't take the photo because they had to go for the suitcase where was the cam. Fernando told them: "... don't worry, I'll wait for you".

After landing, dad and son went running for the suitcases but they didn't appear, there was a problem with the transfer from the plane to the airport. After 15 minutes waiting, they had them. But dad knew it and told his son: "You have to understand it, after 20 minutes Fernando won't be waiting to take a pic... he was in a hurry and national team cars are waiting for him". Despite that, dad and son went running to the place where they agreed the meeting... and Torres alognside a Mercedes-Benz from the spanish federation, talking by phone, was there waiting to take that pic.

Not many players wait 20 minutes for a supporter boy that ask you for a photo...

----Kobay.> I'm in the half-full camp. I don't think we're as far away squad wise as some think we are, maybe three players. Moreover it's a winning mentality that wins titles. Do the players believe in their heads that 'they can win it'? The importance of winning or not losing away. That's Kenny's biggest challenge, convincing them of that. After we finished second a couple of years ago Rafa mentioned that at least now the players know that they 'can' maintain a challenge right to the end of a season. That's a huge leap from finishing fourth and 20 points off the winners.

If Kenny can make us challengers first, then the final step isn't so far away.

The Liverpool crest / why  can't we (LFC) use the Liver bird -??????

Lots of people say, again and again "why can't we just use the liverbird?" .......Well, we DO use it occasionally on some things, but not as the main crest for the shirt - Howeever, the reason it's not used as it used to be is, quite simply, because the club don't own it. Any regular visitor to liverpool (and indeed, people who live in liverpool, which makes some of the griping even more unbelievable) will know that the liverbird is on every purple bin, on every manhole cover, etc in the city. The Royal Liver building has two on top. The council use it as their logo, so do John Moores uni. Even this website uses it. The symbol has existed and evolved for centuries, as a symbol of the community and is what is classed as "public domain" - ie - no one can claim ownership to it, and EVERYONE can use it.

CS@GuillemBalague Liverpool's accademy quality can eclipse Barca et al within the coming 3-5 years; the "FuTuREdS" to be a new european force!

CHRIS>Hiya Peter (LFC now live read out on air monday 14th Mars '11)

Ref European qualification

I would like to see us win in Dublin, I think apart from the obvious Party (and anyone who was In Dortmund, Istanbul or Athens in the last 10 years knows what I mean about that!)
another european trophy is more important than money from champions league,(CL) which I feel could distract us from improving our challenge for the title,
top 4 AND the europa league would be nice, though. <smile>
even if we dont get back into either , that also may NOT be a disaster, if players only come to LFC to play in the CL then are they going to put in a shift in the Premireship campaign?..the big picture says to me we only need a couple/3 key signings and to bring in young players to have a squad as good or better than those currently above us in the league. and WE should add the Kenny & 12th man "magic" !

Councilor Jeff Green tells would-be rebels: "Before anyone else gets any ideas about not paying their council tax, let me assure everyone that Wirral Council is stepping up its activity to ensure that everyone pays their fair share."

Pete D> My council tax is paid for by my benefits as am unemployed, but i do agree it is a rip off, it's just another stealth tax, renamed council tax rather than poll tax....

Pete D> ?2011 is a year off civil unrest and disruption...lmao
          o
Darren G>  well so it is forcast however the zodiac does not work like our calender months the way the book is presented is so we can get our minds round the five dimensional aspects of the charts themselves  the bible code is similar in its message about choices the dimensional aspects our a choice of five paths leading to the future  which means it is our choice which road we take to get to that future.    my beleif is this all wont play out in the course of just 2011 but it will dragg on what takes place this year will lead to new consequences in the future which means more anarchy further down the line.  our problems our bigger than even i can imagine and the biggest bone off contention with some is multiculturism and the far right and the far left shall clash as will the far right clash with the asian classes as the gov likes to call it wink wink ie young islamist extemist mindedness clashing with the far right they really our promising anarchy its the main focus of old moores and only just in january i think it was the times whom got an exclusive interview with the EDL founder.  What he had to say pretty much summed it up for me off just how rough it will get out there.

Personal ...........so what ISN'T personal in MY life??  ;)

11315 Ironic...these are MY "STARS" for today,.....(the day of "editing" My BLOG)

Gemini (Daily Horoscope ) Family troubles are actually a good thing, believe it or not. They could lead to an opening up of some hidden emotional trauma, and open the doorway to healing. Secrets are never a good thing - they fester unseen in the background. Exposure to the light of day removes their sting. ? ;)

hmmm...

The biggest problems now, are that 99.99% people are either scared, selfish or ignorant or "careless" as I strive to offer my experience and abiltiy to my current community and find "someONE" who "CARES" ..about ANYthing except themselves and......me?  ..how to find the .01% ?

I thought I had with these three....

a) (snips) I told you i expect honesty, and if we were to be more than just "Lfc/facebook friends" I would also be honest with you..you did  surprise me ..and maybe that meant i opened up too much or too quick to you..and overwhelmed you, and considering the most "dranatic" stories I held back because you were sick, it may be just as well. I have high expectations of people, perhaps because previously the few people I was close with were not the "average" and the circle unusual...

the fact that I have lost everyone i loved ; parents , kids, wife, sister , etc perhaps means I give a lot to the "big REd family" and although no one usually sees my other emotions , because we shared a bed , i let my defence down and asked you to hold me, this had  a "consequence" that "intimacy" line was crossed and it was anyway difficult for me after my last "disaster" girlfriend to even have a female as young and attractive so close to me physically especially as i am aware that I am overweight and not at my best .. that may not be important to you, but it is to me...and its obviously a big thing to ask you, when I dont have anyone 'else to "care"  (you dont know how or what I "care" about...and I dont seperate "personal" from the REdS  , from volunteer or anything i do itrs all "me"  so if you are unable to "committ" then its an element of our relationship, too many ppl have let me down and broken my trust for me to again risk that with you
when you left me at the bus station I saw something in your   eyes that concerned me...

perhaps it seems unfair to you that I now "withdraw" but already in  t he last year since i have been in this region, several people have "promised"  things, invitations, projects and etc and then failed to back their words with actions , so when you write the above I get another sinking feeling and suggest its perhaps better for me to just meet you at Reds meetings like any of the others because I risk another "mis-understanding" and unless you know all my "story" (and even then you may not "understand" ) this probably wont mean anything to you.., or why i dont trust women any more and why I was "surprised" by you.

I have  the ability to manage the planet but inside is a sort of "orphan  boy"  ..I have been "damaged"  and maybe I wont get repaired , ever ...and its maybe not fair on anyone to be close to me as i may always think they will cause me harm one way or another i cant anyway "count you in" if you have no time, and I guess U are going to be "busy" and anything charitable  I do needs planning &  "committment" even for volunteers (apart from my "book" which you didnt seem enthusiastic about... I wont embarass you or myself, I wont mention it again, so, lets leave it as it was...i wish you good luck in whatever you do, see you around ciao x

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

B> Hiya , I am going to risk telling you this, in private, in confidence,  , because I like you and I want you to understand and trust  me and I really hope to understand you ..and maybe I just need to write this down and share it because its been on my mind since a week..i am a "contradiction" here i am a man who has travelled half the world, DONE almost "everytrhing" had many private & business raltions , extreme experiences good and bad..I grew up in the middle of the domination of football and music by Liverpool , I am a "Shankly boy" and took his ethics into many aspects of my life, yet i now feel again in many ways, like a teenager

there was something like "free love" in my generation, and many people today just relate that to sex ..but it was more than that it was really that most people (especially in my culture) wanted to love each other and trust too was a big part of it.. (snip)  ..it was "discussed " (briefly on a facebook message between us) about sharing a room  but I said "be careful" of "reputation" (I didnt want her to have problems in future with other fans ...) even if our intent was "harmless"
anyway we had the great party, and great atmosphere and result against the mancs , (snip).and didnt worry about that..I agreed (it was the least of my concerns on such a big match-day) BUT when we went to the room there was just a ONE large bed, not 2 as I had expected ...I just commented "hmmmm" and she said nothing, we went back to the party and eventually returned about 01/02h when everyone else had gone,(snip)

neither of us was drunk, I went to the bathroom and quickly was finished, I got into bed, whilst she went to do all those things in a bathroom that women do <smile> ..as usual a long time, and I got into bad clearly on one side away from the bathroom, as although I dotn wear pjamas (as you know) I had shorts on, but also felt conscious that I am a bit "heavy" bad diet, no sport and too much beer. this winter. i was sober and awake..(although I had been "out with the boys" and only slept a couple of hours saturday night.. i heard her get into bed, but realised she was still awake, i asked her if she wanted to talk and she said yes , she wasnt sleepy, we talked a bit , and i told her one or two of my stories..and THAT "crossed MY line" if I choose to open up, as I did with you , it then is "intimate" FOR ME, at least , I put my arm across her should in a "friendly" hug and withdrew so not to cause her embarassment, as i didnt know or expect "more" ...she is half my age, and I wasnt feeling particularly "sexy" or attractive ..

I have had a number of relationships short or long but most came from a woman "knowing" me and i hadnt had any real "contact" since my mad dutch girlfriend of almost 2 years ago, I asked if she wanted a "cuddle" and she sort of got close but not really...so I felt "ok" then she doesnt "want" me..I felt i had given her the opportunity , and I didnt want to force myself on her, in case ...its a "quandry" because I RESPECT a woman, or i dont get involved, sometimes  they think I dont like or want them,  I have a lot of passion, as anyone that I had a "relationship" with would confirm.but..I am now
older, in a different culture and not sure of the "rules" here..so I left it for her to "take the initiative" ..she didnt so I relaxed and decided that its ok, we are just "friends" but |I did tell her that I dont have anyone anymore in my life who "cares" I have no one who will call me at birthdays or xmas time, or want to know if I am ok, or who I can share intimacy with, and she said "ok" ..she could... we were friendly the next morning, (snip) then took the bus, I was telling her ANOTHER (long) story when she got "travel sick" ...so slept,  when we got to BG , we had a drink and she told me she wanted to help me and my volunteer activities withs kids etc..her parents picked he up, and she seemed "annoyed" by them..when she left me at the  bus station I saw something in her eyes that concerned me...

Then I got a silly message from her,  , without comment to my proposals , about "helping" , then she suddenly said she had no time, and the "tone" of the message was "different" , I reacted by being angry and virtually told her not to waste my time, and that I wont mention it again , i will be friendly but not "friends" with anyone who "plays games"  or something like that and it was obviously a big thing to ask her , when I dont have anyone else to "care"  (you dont yet  know how or what I "care" about. but you had also some "pain".).and I dont seperate "personal" from the REdS , from volunteer actions, or anything i do its all "me"  so if she's unable to "committ" then its an element of our relationship, too many ppl have let me down and broken my trust for me to again risk that with her or anyone, maybe I am "alone" because i wont compromise my "beliefs" I dont expect any "answer " from YOU, I just want you to know me ...I wont "dish the dirt" on anyone, I expect a lot of people, and therefore i may always be "disappointed" but i wont change who I am.

ChriS x

D> Hiy AM,

I dont know if you "got " what I said to you yesterday...

I am NOT looking for a "job" or to make lots of money , I dont need or want to "work" but I have an immense knowledge,, experience of life , almost
worldwide and an ability to "create" from virtually nothing, & resolve problems, I have sufficient management / logistics to develop the whole of
your country , my last strategic project had a greater end value than the GDP of "Monty"..(MNE)

IF you want I will gladly give a "seminar" or open forum or simple " coffee time chat" (casual brain-storming) or you can test me yourself over lunch
or dinner, though I guess you don't have the "time" or authority to do that?? but PLEASE dont waste my time or push idiots or narrow-minded people
at me, OK?

Apart from obtaining an "Honorary Fellowship" from the world famous "Institute of Directors" (you can "google" it) I have never passed or
attempted to take any tests or examinations (other than my driving licence) ;)

I am the best, <smile> at Logistics , networking & strategic management but I wont/dont need to "prove it" ...so as I said , I dont know if I will
co-operate with you or set up organisation against you, or just stay a "drinking partner" of our mutual "mate" Slobodan. (maybe not!)

Because most of my projects/enterprise were "confidential" this is the most that was ever written about me..
