"BLOOD RED SUNday?"

I am writing the "monday (My) CLUBLOG" a day early, because I dont want any "last minute" developments to affect my opinons as of this moment...

sometimes i just hate the mentality of the human race, it's ability to avoid justice

Today, 30th January is the 39th anniversary of "Bloody Sunday" ( U2 ) and I will resist going into that tragic injustice there are better informed writers than myself that you should "google" ...............At Liverpool we all know how difficult it is to get justice ( 96 of our REds brothers & sisters @ Hillsborough in 1989) as one friend said to me a while ago "yes we all have "human rights" but look how difficult it is to GET them!" ...So that puts the transfer of one of our "heroes" in perspective, doesnt it, in one instance 39 people who were marching for human rights and another who simply went to a stadium to watch a football match and never came home..

Perspective? people have lost it...?

A young man is being virtually "crucified" for considering a change of employer, and the "media stoked  mob" reacts... for million + REDS its become "Blood RED Sunday"...

I was "seconded" to a Lfc forum during the "Torres crisis" this weekend by Reds fan  Sean to be "admin" with him and another on this group, This "posting" is mostly addressed to Sean, though as they say "if the cap fits , wear it"..I want to explain why i seem to go against the trend of those keen to "hang" our kd out ...(I am sure you may yet wish you hadnt brought me into this group, "crucifiction by association") ...I am some one who stood on the old Kop, and not having been born in L4, there was an instant "magic" of living the dream of combining my great loves; Footy and music , whilst as a small boy i was "surfed" all over the old Kop in the latter part of the '60's..

This "phenomenon" the social revolution; music, the Kop..Shanks..the team in RED conquering all before them (or so it seemed, even if we had trophy-less years, it didnt dampen the Kopite enthusiam & love of our team) ...and solidarity..as Shanks called it ; the holy trinity ; an affinity & bond between Players, Manager & Supporters, mostly working clas, but which could also get the "suits" excited like kids roaring on OUR team...the LIVERPOOL way, but also a dignity, if a team as better, we applauded them, but one thing we nEVER did was Boo our team or any of the players (even if we, privately, or amongst fellow kopites, with wit & wisdom mention that one or two "improvements" could be had ) there was an unsaid TRUST..

So when I seemingly "rant" at the mob, the knee - jerkers, who were to hang Torres within hours without hearing HIS "explanation" , and see the repetition of pure speculation rumour caused by the media we KNOW to be anti-Lfc, I get angry, I get sad, and sometimes i just feel ashamed that people have lost that Trust that unity and magic (the spirit we had to sing "YNWA" at half-time at the Attaturk in '05, and many other times in our wonderful history) the frustration of warning our club , supporters & global fan base of the dangers of sale to the yankers, the office failings and such , and watch each and every event predicted error come to pass and all but sink our club beyond repair, Torres leaving was one of them.

without any apology at all for mentioning him, as I see more and more fans recently woke up to realise his "loss" to us, Rafa always would mention "mentality" and my arguement is about "mentality" NOT "opinion"...the mob, the mass, the "democratic majority" is often wrong, and certainly in todays media - driven society, with their bias and incredible ability to broadcast complete lies and errors..(our reliance on "SLY TV" is pathetic ) .its not only necessary but VITAL to BALANCE this with a CONSTANT reminder of who we are or who we should be.

Whether you like me or not, dont really bother me ( much , <smile>) I have so many great memories of victory (& the craic) with our travelling kop, all over europe, and watching Nando stun the san siro, or slalom through the marseille defence or acre the sh*t out of "super rich" Madrid @ Anfield etc etc is not the only reason i will give him the benefit of the doubt, the well-known mistreatment and mis-managment of the office @ Lfc is another, but most importantly , when he joined our club, I made a point of researching him, his MENTALITY, and I can, hand on heart, defend him and say, to hand in his transfer request is a NOT result of some greedy claim for more money, or to cause our club problems, but something much deeper has disturbed him, and I am not surprised, WE Supporters must CLEaN our club, of the sh*te that accumulated with the previous yankers and our biggest mistake was not to begin protests earlier and to assume that the fight is over when NESV claimed their contrived bargain!

today ion  the 39th anniversary of "Bloody Sunday" it sure feels like it..its "BLOOD RED SUNDAY!"

When Liverpool "went Torres-Spanish"...

Like every true RED, I went to bed last night sad, not because Torres had asked for a transfer, and not because I hate chelski and all clubs like them, Mancs, Madrid, and City, who are party to the money-madness thats , bit by bit ruined the game that has been a major part of my life, but because so few people realised what was going on

2/3 years ago, I wrote a letter to the supporters magazine "the KOP" and pleaded with supporters, SoS/ShareLfc, to come together to unite the "holy trinity", to support Rafa (when he had a go at Fergie) and to THEN to form a fund to purchase Lfc, well we didnt Moores sold to Hicks, we were raped by idiots like parry & purslow, allowed a CHELSKI chairman to come inside OUR club! Union protests and promises to form a fund with shareLfc came too late

..Lfc employed a FOOL to manage our team , replacing a man who was Lfc 24/7 & who had been betrayed , (including a saga that nearly cost Torres his career when injured , NOT Rafa's fault btw) then instead of supporting Rafa, with players he wanted, Rafa got blamed and forced to leave with the aid of the biased (london based) media and ex-players with their often xenophobic agenda..then hodgson forced our team to play "ale-house" footy, whilst "experts" on tv and in our "fan base" criticised the lad Torres  for looking p*ssed off..

.........we rightly celebrated the "return of the King" SIX MONTH LATE, Kenny has already worked  miracles , but the price WE ALL PAY for "apathy" last years and simply being "spectators" whilst our club was being eaten away by people with selfish intentions , may be the loss of a guy who has until now shown only love and respect for us, as we did  for him.

I for one wont kick him for doing no more than OUR CAPTAIN GERRARD did TWICE, and for less reasons than Torres has now, so anyone who dont like the consequences only have themselves to blame, for lack of intestinal fortutude and our collective failure to take the chances of owning OUR club ...we are the club, and its Y-OUR responsibility...

..."if the cap fits ...wear it! " ..and come on TRUE REDS!..YOU will never walk alone..though y-our dreams be tossed and blown..

(REdS...dont be like the "rent boys" fans,   Torres, I hope YOU will score another 2 v blues!)

I am disgusted by some "fans" now publishing a picture of Fernando as some kind of "judas" .....those should go and follow the bitters or mancs & are not fit to wear the Liverpool Red, I am ashamed of you...within 24 hrs you turn on our player and you should go, not Torres!

note worthy how when he is our man its "Nando" and when he is suddenly turned against its "the spaniard" , I noticed this by people in the past where "foreigners" are concerned..

it shocking how quickly some people spit on each other these days..

If you are so quick to decide what is in Torres intent or to accuse him of greedily deliberately planning to leave to cause the worst for Lfc, then that  is just plain and simply wrong, so many  bought into the media agenda which loves to stir up anything anti-Lfc , and anything to wind up our support , the media use rumour,  heresay and opinions of failed managers & explayers to stir up any piece of rubbish

Torres has just reasons to be angry with Lfc , for all you know something happened this week to push him over the edge, and all the broken promises and mistreatment that nearly ruined his career, came to the surface... there are a couple of players who have played politics with Purslow which partly led to Rafa being replaced by fool hodgson instead of Kenny, if its had not had been for that we could be title challenging,...

if its suits your limitations to jump on the media bandwagon should we lose Torres, then you are also blaming him for doing what Rushie, Keegan & (almost) Capt. Stevie G did...(twice) ...whatever the rights & wrongs this mentality  to turn on players when they do something "wrong" is disloyal to the badge IMO, its a symptom of todays society where "scapegoats" are money-making headlines IMO if Torres goes then some "fans" are as much to blame as anyone

  HE was persuaded to stay.............!

at the time I write Nando didnt "say" anything , I wont believe the media/rumours,until I hear his worsd, the only sure things are that Cheslki made an offer, so far rejected by LFC, and he put in a general transfer request (not specially to go to chelski but to leave!) and for me Stevie is no less "responsible" for PUBLICLY (as captain) making it clear he considered leaving Lfc TWICE, in writing or not, it was publicised with the same damage as we now have!!! Liverpool supporters of my generation were FAIR, and preferred to give our players what we call "the benefit of the doubt" until we knew for sure ALL the facts..the modern media - driven mentality is to jump on every piece of rumour / speculation and ASS-U-ME! ;)

......because of all the problems, many of which will become known to all fans wordwide in time, about the actions of people in the office , from Moores, Parry, Purslow, Broughton & Hodgson & a couple players still at the club taking too much involvement in off-field matters..who I wont mention for the sake of Kennys desire to bring the team together, if anyone had been treated like Torres has been then they probably would have gone a year ago!,

instead of thanking him for his loyalty despite the media and some explayers & fans moaning about his "attitude" whilst hodgson asked him to lead the line in "ale house football" being kicked up in the air by all and sundry without much protection from the team (and certainly none from his "manager" ther fool hodgson..)

no, when, for whatever reason the guy says "enough is enough" far too many fans just jump on the media-led bandwagon and crucify the lad, a top striker has (at most) 10 seasons of top level football, Lfc the club I love with my heart, almost wiped out his career at a time when he should be at his best and enjoying his game, as for me, I wish him, as I did with Masch & Alonso every success and understanding whether he stays or goes..and just wish some of our "fans" would show a bit (LOT)more dignity & loyalty , there ARE times when "someone is bigger than the club" and that is when the club IS wrong, and we are probably still gonna pay the price for that for a while yet!

too many "fans" are lazy and just knee-jerk to any rumour without having their own perspective, because of the "fast food generation" concentrated research to cut through the BS is harder, I do it, so please dont lump me in with them, I spend several hours a day...the background was posted on a much earlier page of my blog &  I suggest you read it , its several pages about why Torres was mistreated (NOT Rafas fault! ) H of course we can move on without Torres, my points are nothing to do with that, so dont divert them

extracts ... ?"We all remember the Torres debacle last season. His injury, whether he needed an operation or not , whether he was fit or not, whether he had fell out with Rafa or not, whether he wanted to leave or not.
Well here goes. I'm telling some of these as I am thoroughly ********** off with the goings on at our club!! From the completely inept Parry to the lies fed to the press by Purslow and the previous owners to deflect the blame for the mess that was being created , onto Mr Benitez.

Torres had had an operation in early 2010 to cure a knee problem. He was brought back but wasnt truly fit and was infact "running lame". Under the current physios and doctors he ( Torres) was assured that he would recover all fitness and strength for the World Cup. Torres at this time had made it clear that didnt want to miss the world Cup. He made a few substitute appearances and few starts , without really looking fit or even comfortable
Birmingham away 4th April 2010
Rafa having been instructed that Torres was progressing fine, wasnt running lame and just needed game time started him. Anyone remember how poor and how ineffective Torres was in the first half? He was substituted early in the 2nd half, much to the disgust of our captain, who famously looked at the camera in disgust at the switch when we were trying to win the game.
Rafa had asked the club doctor and physios at half time and again early in the 2nd half if they thought that Torres was indeed fit and indeed fit enough to start. A senior player confirmed to me at the time that neither the physio or doctor said anything at all, leaving Rafa to assume that something was not right. With Benfica coming up on the Thursday he immediately removed Torres as he feared further injury, risking the wrath of the fans who knew we needed Torres on the pitch to win the game and keep CL qualification alive.
Rafa then questioned Torres fitness levels in the week of the Benfica game and was again reassured that all was ok. He started against Benfica and scored , but suffered a reaction to the knee. Over the next few days he returned to Spain to see the surgeon, who reported to Rafa that the knee had deteriorated and he had suffered further injury due to being " rushed back" and " not being looked after properly". It was decided there and then that Torres would undergo further surgery in an effort to be fit for the World cup. ?(why Rafa recently publcily criticised Purslow on the BBC)" (more on the Kop UNltd discussions section)

A lot of "fans" were moaning on the internet about Torres "attitude" ...even though despite missing a part fo the season he is still our top goalscorer, spoilt brats! the appointment of hodgson, and the delay in getting rid of him by the new yankers (after 10 games) didnt help did it? people should be angry at the old and the new yankers/purslow etc ..they took too long to see what we knew, at this moment Torres is still a LFC player, so do you all forgive Stevie when he done it TWICE!!! hypocrits! . did you do that in 2005 when Gerrard was all over the back pages threatening to go to chelski, no? why not cos hes a scouser??? please so is shrek!!! ..and Gerrard at the t...ime was our captain having just picked up the CUP!!! amazing ppl, the prejudice just stinks..

Some "fans" are so quick to decide what is in Torres intent and to accuse him of greedily deliberately planning to leave to cause the worst for Lfc is just plain and simply wrong, you bought into the media agenda which loves to stir up anything anti-Lfc , and anything to wind up our support , the media wil use rumour heresay and opinions of failed managers & explayers to stir up any piece of sh*te, I took the trouble to post on this group the background of exactly why Torres has just reasons to be p*ssed off with Lfc , for all you know something happened this week to push him over the edge, and all the broken promises and mistreatment that nearly ruined his career, came to the surface... there are a couple of players who have played politics with Purslow which partly led to Rafa being replaced by fool hodgson instead of Kenny, if its had not had been for that we could be title challenging,...

because of all the problems, many of which will become known to all fans wordwide in time, about the actions of people in the office , from Moores, Parry, Purslow, Broughton & Hodgson & a couple players still at the club taking too much involvement in off-field matters..who I wont mention for the sake of Kennys desire to bring the team together, if anyone had been treated like Torres has been then they probably would have gone a year ago!, instead of thanking him for his loyalty despite the media and some explayers& fans mopaning about his "attitude" whilst hodgson asked him to lead the line in "ale house football" being kicked up in the air by all and sundry without much protection from the team (and certainly none from his "manager" fool hodgson..) no when, for whatever reason the guy says "enough is enough" far too many fans just jump on the media-led bandwagon and crucify the lad, a top striker has (at most) 10 seasons of top level football, Lfc the club I love with my heart, almost wiped outn his career at a time when he should be at his best and enjoying his game, as for me, I wish him, as I did with Masch every success and understanding whether he stays or goes..and just wish our "fans" would show a bit more dignity & loyalty , there ARE times when "someone is bigger than the club" and that is when the club IS wrong, and we are probably still gonna pay the price for that for a while yet!

the current yankers also added to the problem, they should have researched Lfc before purchase,...agreed?...so when it obvious that hodgson (who should never have been appointed) was moving against our interests, in everything he did, they had the perfect solution, being new, they could have used his own "judge me after 10 games " statement, which we had won only 3 in the league..and replaced him with the "peoples choice" ; Kenny , many fans were turned against Torres by media & "experts" (who never won a thing at top level management) who backed hodgson and criticised Torres, do you think the lad didnt notice that???

..unfortunately since istanbul (05) we have accumulated a section of "fans" (as in the latter days of our domination 20 years ago) who dont understand or promote the Liverpool way, i am not talking about core supporters, but you know them , you have seen them on many forums..and some even go to games and boo, Lucas for one, has come though it ..I know you are not one of them, i wouldnt assoiate with you if you were, I just want u to understand ...why I too "have had enough"

39 years!!!!! SUNday bloody sunDAY, the human race, local & global, in small and big reltionaships still doesnt understand freedom, honesty, truth nor justice..!

'Football is a simple game based on the giving and taking of passes,
of controlling the ball and of making yourself available to receive a pass.
It is terribly simple.' - Bill Shankly

Home league gane

1-0 v fulham, we scored a goal, and that was wrongly ruled offside, had to fight, good to see the team really showing that spirit & scrap if necessary, Agger was superb, Glen looked good also at left back, Raul everywhere, Maxi also put in a shift..little bit o luck , with the run of the ball.but when did we last have that, winning can be a habit, Tesam mentality & attitude is right ....and Pepe, great goalie!

(the irony that the ex-team of hodgson was the only team we didnt play whilst he was "in occupation")

Monday morning CLUBLOG (opinion)

its right that Lfc are careful with (our) money citeh / madrid cant buy success and in a world where people still starve its immoral to pay over the odds for anything..least of all untried players, its one thing looking good in the world cup , in the dutch league or playing for b,pool but reaching the standards we expect is another thing..Kenny s got back to the starting point within a month, if we dont sign players theres room for pacheco and some of the TWENTY-FIVE international youth players we have on the books!!!!!

Several young players are the same age as suarez was when he started in the dutch league? how do you justify saurez, on what basis, success in world cup, or scoring goals in an inferior league, we paid around the same as ajax wants, to atletico for TORRES , who was captain of a team in la liga, a bit diffreent ?

There are questions to be considered;

Do we really  NEED him, when we are 7th? no, we WANT him..,if hes worth 20 mil why haven't the other "big clubs" come in for him? will suarez come in and score goals now??? considering how most players need time to get used to the change of pace & pressure of the EPL, why do we need saurez now? why do we need "big money players" havent we just got caught ip in all the "transfer market BS" for far too long?

What if we spend 20 mil, and then Torres gets injured but suarez is not ready?? , not many clubs wanted bent at the price  either, it seems to me that because hodgson fouled up the first part of the season u still cant see the wood for the trees , we had a squad full of world cup class palyers at the beginning of the season, mismanaged, and now people panic..just because we arent paying blackmail prices for players, its ridiculous, and bad business and also is not good for the club payment levels,, never mind the moral issues , just because other clubs have got money than sense..

I mean we have such a "limited" squad that international players like Babel and Jovanovic cant get a game, and pacheco is only on the bench who is rated by everyone with a football brain , what Carra or players say about managment dont interests me , take note, we have only Carra injured , in the last 2 seasons we had several players out at this time of the year, this means we have more players available,

kelly and jonjo are of first team squad standard. have been added, just because we dont SPEND new money dont mean we have a limited squad, as Kenny said when he took over, "with or without new players i am HAPPY to manage this squad until the end of the season" dont that make sense to you? Carra isnt a manager , he  wanted hodgson over Rafa or Kenny , so his judgement is flawed IMO

we dont NEED new players, a couple would add to the squad, but whats more important is using what we have better, which is what kenny is doing...either U trust Kenny or not and as Kenny has said he is happy and has money but will "spend it carefully" then why cany u accept that and not join the "transfer window panic" ?

I disagree with thosee writer s moaning,  mates! ;)i dont have to be right..but what i do know is that I will back Kenny, and if Kenny says we are "ok" without those 2 then its good enough for me..yes i want success , but not at any price, this club has been mis-managed too much especially since moore employed parry, then the hicks purslow crap, its time we sorted it out on and off the pitch showing strength in negociations is as important as showing fight as they did last night*..REDmates ! :D (*game v fulham)

I am one of the first to stand up for any groups rights, but in many walks of life now, especially family courts women get special treatment, why dont you apply for any one of the positions?, you seem able to string a good arguement together.

.women arent an ethnic group or mnority, women have been prime ministers of large nations, women have at least an equal say on matters as they vote equally, they are virtually equal in population. it was wrong what Gray & keys did, but bigotry is a mentality and those 2 have been constantly guilty liek many inthe media of an anti-LFC bias too..

However as a male, who loves the "fight" and "bonding" of male team players when I was in the game, I have seen a lot of the masculine element leave the game of football, players are over-protected and "theatrics" are almost encouraged..male elements in society are as important as female, and there shouldnt be any bias one way or another..equality is the aim, a transparent and honest election of those who will have a voice at the club.

The Democratic King
« on: January 25, 2011, 08:10:50 PM »

In Liverpool, particularly in the Kop, the Union Jack, a symbol of the British Empire is as popular as a Spanish flag in the Nou Camp.  The British monarchy is simply considered as that privileged family falling under the name of Windsor that lives on freebies off Johnny public.  The titles, gongs and medals they hand every now and then are thus considered secondary.  The real respect off the Liverpool public is not earned through these titles, but through something else.  Bob Paisley, the mastermind behind three European Cups was never deemed fit to be a Knight by the Queen.

However, in every Liverpool fan’s eyes he is the ultimate Sir, and in every conversation being it at the pub or at the work place, everyone uses Sir before his name, like back in the school days you used to call your headmaster as Mr Whatever rather than with his first name.  Kenny Dalglish is simply known as “King Kenny”.  The King that has no long face but simply a whole smile every time Liverpool scores, while his hands open themselves as far of each other as possible.  He is the most democratic King ever.  He is on the throne not through being born under a lucky star and earned the title and privileges through simple inheritance, but through hard work, class and continuous loyalty to his people.

Sir Bob once said of the Scot, “When Kenny shines, the whole team is illuminated”.  At the moment, when Kenny speaks, we shush each other, listen attentively, nod and feel that ray of hope.  When Kenny smiles, we feel a warm glow, and smile ourselves, as if trying to mirror him.

Twenty years ago, Dalglish resigned from being our manager, but he never abdicated as our King.  We sang his name one way or another in every game.  He had to resign as he lived the darkest hour of Liverpool Football Club too acutely.  He gave a part of himself there, and when he tried to get it back he couldn’t find it.  In a different darkness, though Kenny came back.

We were lost.  We were divided.  We were forgetting who we are and what we stand for.  But soon we remembered that we can be alone together like no other.  We’ve got something to look forward to.  We’ve got someone to fight for.  We’ve got a King who from his throne will never look down at us.  As he is one of us.

I love Kenny to bits. I remember the day he joined us whilst I was still reeling from the loss of keegan. It didnt take long for me to have a new idol. Kenny even visited me along with other players when i was in the liverpool childrens hospital for xmas back in 1981. However I find this post a little mawkish. I'm not sure 'democratic' is the right word to use about Dalglish. As a player he's certainly the king in the eyes of fans, he's certainly a generous man who is deeply aware of his responsibility to the club, the fans, the city. He is certainly a man of the people much like Shanks. But like Shankly he's no democratic leader, as a manager Kenny has a ruthless streak, is disciplined and knows exactly what he wants. Whilst im sure that he is a great motivator, canny in the boardroom, consults his staff and knows when to use the expertise of others I very much doubt that he governs by consensus.

Just ask Aldo who he dropped then sold in favour of Rushy; or Phil
Neal who he immediately stripped of the captaincy; or how as soon as he took charge the first time round his steely decisiveness saw massive changes to the back room set up; or how his relationship with his ex team mates changed overnight when he became boss.

Tomkins wrote this:

Upon Dalglish’s appointment, Graeme Souness explained that his good friend had an ingredient vital for success: he scared people with a growl, and sometimes with even just a look. As well as being respected as a player, Dalglish was a strong character who could command respect as a man. He was no soft touch, as his former team-mates would discover.

So Dalglish King, yes, a democratic one? Maybe not But I love his Mentality

4--0 madrid

People have been conditiond to the addiction to "must know " ins and out of every thing and can easily get their "fix" on line nowadays not like 20/30 yrs ago only time we knew of signings was when we saw them in red shirts in the newspapers, I dont just mean to object JUST to bs about transfers, its avoiding ppl who are always knee-jerking..what I have seen in so many lfc forums ,full with .... is a danger of overloading with lots of ""instant Lfc fans" who arent true Reds , know little about the clubs "Liverpool way" and just want to "chit chat" and make banal comments about transfers,or insult others opinion, big themselves up to impress their buddies, etc, ..reasonable and respectful arguement (with some witty banter) is great and a  forum has potential of some "style" and will hopefully keep its "warmth" ..its not my problem when I am not admin (and I have several of my own (closed) groups to care for|) but I like the situation so far and hope  guys can keep it worth continuing, as it gets bigger its a harder job, but sincerely, so far..it was well done!

Ryan Babel went...thanks for the memories (in pictures)

Babel didnt even make the Webb pic, he forwarded it, and whilst he is a pro. so are Gray & keys,(supposed to be) "professionals" who have a a far too MUCH influence on the masses that watch SLY tv .. and as hes an obviously biased bluesh*te dont know why we would defend them and not Babel (although hes gone)

these 2 "SKY-guys" MIGHT say something rascist too, IMO prejudiced people tend to have a lot of bigotry in their mentality..they might make such comments about anyone, gender or ethnic , we dont know, but, they have often shown outright bias against us and thats a reason I wouldn't defend them, apart from the fact they are wrong to slate the lass, but its provoked some humour...forgive these pics please ladies?

The Team

We have every reason to be confident, Kenny will keep their feet on the ground, whilst raising confidence levels, Stevie must fight for his place. Gerrard should play wherever Kenny wants him to play!, obvious would be to slot him back in with the central 3 of SG, Raul & Lucas!!! (actually Lucas had a slight injury so missed the WIN  v fulham)

Anfield

The State should ensure Anfield is a cultural heritage site and is kept intact, more important to the ppl than some robber-barons castle!

Very few in the media have a clue compared to our core Supporters, Kenny, (as with Rafa) is a key component in the "holy trinity" bonding supporters players & the bootroom..

so we dont need fans nor media moaning about lack of transfers we dont NEED new players, a couple are WANTED, and would add to the squad, but whats more important is using what we have better, which is what kenny is doing...either you trust Kenny or not and as Kenny has said he is happy and has money but will "spend it carefully" then why cant some fans accept that and not join the "transfer window panic" ?

I disagree with thosee writers moaning, i dont have to be right..but what i do know is that I will back Kenny, and if Kenny says we are "ok" with or without those 2 (suarez/Adam) then its good enough for me..yes i want success , but not at any price, this club has been mis-managed too much especially since moore employed parry, then the hicks / purslow / hodgson rubbish, its time we sorted it out on and off the pitch showing strength in negociations is as important as showing fight as they did last night..REDmates ! :D

a) Kenny thinks the world of Torres
b) there would be a massive loss to Reds worldwide support if Torres went
c) Torres loves Liverpool
d) we love Torres
e) dont believe ANYone in the media (least of all Sly tv)
f) Lfc have told chelski to go away
g) "sir" broughton has shown his true mentality (no WAY should a chelsea man have been allowed to get inside our club
Lfc have to get back its honour on and off the field , WE are NOT a "selling club" and management, players and supporters (or should say the "fans" ) need to start DEFENDING LFC and not particapting in the media BS! follow Kennys example boys!

Dear Luka & REdMates

It still may be possible to go to Prague, BUT I want to make it quite clear WHY i am reluctant..
..One of the factors and Strengths of Kenny Dalglish is his lifetyle values, in recent years fans have
been influenced by money/media. The Premiere League, the Champions League and billionaire investments and ("illegal") government financing of spanish and italian clubs etc have perverted the sense of the game
of football.

"canny Kenny" is clear that he treats the money made available @ Lfc as if it were his own, its not a bad ethic is it?..maybe to consider in life generally. Why people waste anything, just because its not their own. I consider the money that Lfc has to spend as "ours" goodness knows the money I have spent supporting LFC and organising Reds related events makes me feel so. Some clubs "blackmail" buyers in this January
"Window"  and just because the likes of man citeh & (un)real madrid are stupid with money, does not mean
we should simply accept it as one fane claimed "thats just the way it is" oh NO NO NO NO NO!

and likewise, when a club we are playing in the EUROPA league inflates prices to TREBLE their standard ticket to EXPLOIT our supporters, then I feel IF I accpt this, I am contributing to more "Blackmail"

So, those lads from Beograd WANT, we could enjoy less money going to meet some Reds in N. SAD or Tuzla and make friends, have a few bevvies , of course or travel to prague to just "be there" for the "Craic"..

howvever decisions must be made SOON!

Personal Notes

(mind you, what can be MORE "personal"??)

You only live Twice..Mr. Smith?....

"I just wanna feel real love,
Feel the home that I live in.
’cause I got too much life,
Running through my veins, going to waste."

"An unexpected problem with a task you're trying to finish could cause a temporary upset between you and those closest to you, Gemini. This might have your family stomping out of the house in anger. Remember that everybody has their own concerns, and probably wouldn't have reacted this way otherwise. Finish what you have to do and patch things up later. All should be well." (11129)

A Spontaneous poem for Ja!

I sat talking to her
had only danced before
a calm and trusting moment
and i wanted more and more

does she know how beautiful
she feels to be
my ears cant believe
what my eyes can see

so I continue talking
opening up again,
I am hungry for this moment
and want to do it again..

but careful not to push
this fragile lady in my path
no wish to have a fight
no wish to incur wrath

I only feel a positive
in the vibration she brings
I wonder if she will trust me
because now my heart sings!

<smile> x

( 11128 ; Relations with partners of all kinds - business, romantic, creative - might be somewhat strained today, Gemini. You and the other parties involved may have been under a lot of stress, and you could be snapping at each other. It might be a good idea to keep contact between you to a minimum. If you can't, try to be cordial and cooperative even if you don't feel like it.) true!!!!!  ..but impossible ;)

(11127; Have you been lethargic lately? If so, today is your wakeup call. You will be alert and clear about the task at hand. You understand that your help is urgently needed, and that there's no time to waste. You can expect to pour a great deal of energy into a single, well-defined goal today. If you usually wander from project to project, this will be a change for you, Gemini.)

(11126; Creativity and romance are a good combination, Gemini, and today both are in top form. Why not get out the good stationery and craft a love note that will set that special someone's heart aflutter? Cater to your romantic nature, ideally with a partner at your side. Even if you're alone, a bubble bath will do wonders for your soul.) <smile > no bath but nice "vibes"..

(facebook, from Stephen; As of today, the New FB Privacy setting called "Instant Personalization" goes into effect. The new setting shares your data with non-Facebook websites & it is automatically set to "Enabled". Go to Account>Privacy Settings>Apps & Websites>Instant Personalization>edit settings & uncheck "Enable". BTW: If your friends don't do this, they will be sharing info about you as well. Please copy and repost) ?

(11125 You're never at a loss for an opinion, Gemini, and today is no exception. The energy of the day is such that you're happier listening to conversations than participating in them. You can't help but smile at the misinformation that gets bandied about. Since no one has bothered to ask for your opinion, you aren't about to offer it today. Tomorrow is another matter entirely.) you must be joking..ask "Sean" lol !!!

(11124 If you've been thinking about studying astrology, numerology, or other occult sciences, Gemini, this is the day to start. There may be a school or teacher that you've been considering. By doing this, you could open doors to new knowledge, meet new friends who share your interests, and steer your life in a fascinating new direction. Pick up the phone and take the first step.

to "Helena" , sorry no I wont be going to "ex-pat" black tie dinner/dance @ tivat ...only snobs allowed ? ;) I could care less, I have been to a few hundred of those black tie  "do" s and I dont need to go anywhere where people dont (really)  want me, Kate isnt a fan of mine....! <smile>

last words...(& Music)

Come on hold my hand,
I wanna contact the living.
Not sure I understand,
This role I’ve been given.

I sit and talk to god
And he just laughs at my plans,
My head speaks a language, I don’t understand.

(chorus)
I just wanna feel real love,
Feel the home that I live in.
’cause I got too much life,
Running through my veins, going to waste.

I don’t wanna die,
But I ain’t keen on living either.
Before I fall in love,
I’m preparing to leave her.
I scare myself to death,
That’s why I keep on running.
Before I’ve arrived, I can see myself coming.

(chorus)
I just wanna feel real love,
Feel the home that I live in.
’cause I got too much life,
Running through my veins, going to waste.

And I need to feel, real love
And a life ever after.
I cannot get enough.

(instrumental)

(chorus)
I just wanna feel real love,
Feel the home that I live in,
I got too much love,
Running through my veins, going to waste.

I just wanna feel real love,
In a life ever after
There’s a hole in my soul,
You can see it in my face, it’s a real big place.

(instrumental)

Come and hold my hand,
I wanna contact the living,
Not sure I understand,
This role I’ve been given

Not sure I understand.
Not sure I understand.
Not sure I understand.
Not sure I understand.

to "OB2" Hope U are ok, let me share this with U, even though you have been "distant" for a while ...

(snip) "this morning, several hours after writing the above, I have calmed down, and decide that really its unlikely that any modern woman, with all the social climate and fear of "strangers" that one would be able to care for me like I would care ..so back to football..and my last life..I just wanted to "contact the living" to make sure I wasnt alone...;)"
